excellent!

Excellent, well done! Funny how the sound effects made it characteristic even though they were real toony. Oh and you might consider using a better camera in the future. It could still be repaired with something like after effects though.

But except that! Cool!

quality

So if you want to embed a video, make sure the flash framerate, the flash video frame rate and the rendered movie from after effects frame rate are the same (European = 25fps, American = 29,97 (or 30)).
Make sure your video is at least 350kbps. Make the video size as big as you like (max is what newgrounds supports offcourse). As long as it's under 10 mb, Offcourse if the movie is really short, you might want to consider to not let people load 10mb for just a few seconds of animation.
If you take a look at my movies, you'll see that all of them are embedded videos! But it's really hard to see at most of them. I like to animate with a combination of flash, after effects, photoshop and cinema 4d. Flash shouldn't be your limitation :P

Well good luck on your next movie! Looking forward to see more.

Regards

Well I guess I figured out where I goofed up then, as I didn't double check that the After Effects and Flash frame rate were both 29.97. This was my first time trying to embed a video file into Flash, as you can probably tell. Thanks for the help aniforce

quite good

that was actually quite good. I think the score is a little too low. fun dialoge, fun refferences, nice jokes. Fun. I think it god a litle low score because it started of slow and the preloader screen looks like the film will be crappy. A jumping ball makes no sense. You could have given us an introduction on what to expect. oh and I noticed people around here don't like different languages. I myself am Dutch. As you can see in my Polar Bear submission, they did not respond too well.

It's good to know that you understand , my friend....
and this project will have a 3rd and final version with much more fun and quality.
I promise!

!!!

hey, using yakity sax (which you should name in the audio credits) makes everything fun! So there... a 7...

nice

I see potential because of the many styles. Keep on the good work, but try working on the quality of your character designs. cheers

oh and feel free to check out my reel :)

That was fun!

Nice, original, 5/5 9/10

Good reel

Good reel, I enjoyed it. Mainly because of the frame-by-frame animation. But try some different styles too (meaning line work or color palletes). And don't be afraid to try more the only flash software.
But keep up the good work! (oh and check out my reel of '09 and '07 too, if you like)
5/5 - 9/10

!!!

Well done! The animation was great! Sometimes maybe a little too anime-style, but most of the time fluently animated and yet animated in few frames, which is probably how you did it within two months! That's an art on it's own! Still, I want you to explain how ya did it in so little time? What's your workflow?

Story was fun too! Although it was quite strange when you introduced the girl (voiceover) as the main character, but it looked like the spikey-guy head was the main character at the end. So it first seemed you tell the story from the point of view of the girl and later on a story is shown that she did not take part in.

Thanks for the link to the music, I use www.musicdirector.nl myself. It's in Dutch, but it has a lot of music.

Oh and if you want to upload bigger files, send Tom Fulp a message (As you probably know, he's the big boss around here :)) I sent him a youtube link of one of my films and he upped my filelimit to 20 mb. (00-Suited)

But good work! I'm keeping an eye on you from now on ;)

!!!

Voices were of really good quality, might need such voice actors... if interested, gimme a page

Eddache responds:

We're always happy to provide voiceovers!

!!!

Actually quite scary, since the voice track is a piece of the most disturbing and scary piece of Monthy Python... See Youtube... (oh and see my ode to Monthy Python / Terry Gilliam)
