controls

controls are still a bit slow! Improve that, it will improve your game greatly.
Also, try not to "trace bitmap" everything. You probably know what I mean. I will cost you a lot of KB's wasted on unneeded vectors. Try PNG's with transparancy instead and tweak their quality.
Oh and add an "controls" section in your movie description.

Terrific game

really fantastic! Humorous, good controls, really fun! I would pay a little more attention to the animation though, and maybe here and there a little polish on the look! (No I don't mean clean)

fun, good visuals, nice animation, funny concept... but WAAAAY too hard. Even contra is easy compared to this... it's impossible to dodge bullets that are behind sprites, especially when you character is hyperjumpy... I even got hit by bullets from below and above that were off camera...
